Mr Sarhanis has been a Consultant Gynaecologist at North West London Hospitals since 1996.
He graduated in 1985 and trained as a Gynaecologist in Manchester and North Staffordshire. He was awarded the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists Wellbeing Award for his research in Ovarian Cancer in 1994 and was subsequently appointed as a Lecturer in Gynaecological Oncology at the University of Sheffield before taking up his post as Consultant in London.
Mr Sarhanis has developed extensive expertise in major Gynaecological surgery including surgery for Gynaecological Cancers. He is one of the founding members of the West London Gynaecological Cancer Network, as well as a Council Member of the British Gynaecological Cancer Society.

He has set up a one-stop GP referral service for postmenopausal bleeding and suspicious pelvic masses, as well as suspicious cervical and
vulval lesions. If cancer is excluded, many lesions, such as polyps or cysts are managed with Minimally Invasive Surgery. In benign Gynaecology his interests include the management of heavy periods with endometrial ablation and the operative management of Endometriosis and benign ovarian cysts.
He operates both at Northwick Park and Hammersmith Hospitals and privately at Bishops Wood Hospital and Clementine Churchill Hospital, Harrow. He is a BSCCP accredited Colposcopist.
He is also the Lead Colposcopist for his NHS Hospital as well as the Deputy QA Lead Colposcopist for London. He is a member of the British Society for the Study of Vulval Disease, and has extensive experience in the management of Vulval Disease, both benign and malignant. We can also offer information on yoga for cancer patients.
Mr Sarhanis offers private consultations at Bishops Wood Hospital on Saturday mornings. He consults at the Clementine Churchill Hospital on Thursday afternoons and Friday evenings. Appointments can be made by contacting his Private Secretary on on 01923 773503 or by clicking Here to Email.
